Visiting the hairdresser!!

Jr.Kinderクラスは6月のテーマの中の"hairdresser"を学ぶために、

FURUSHOに美容院の見学に行きました。

最初に美容師さんが使う道具を見せてくれました

座りたいって言ったけど、ちょっと緊張するなー

”Which hair style do you like?”
"I like this one！"

髪を整えてもらって、とてもうれしそう☆

So　serious.....

美容師さんがこうやって髪を切るんだよと、
丁寧に見せてくれ子ども達も真剣です

ほんとに髪を切るのかなと心配する姿、積極的にやりたいとトライする姿、

初めての場所にやっぱり緊張する姿、、、など様々な表情がみられました。

子ども達にとって、新鮮で貴重な体験をすることができたと思います。

Rainy Days and Rainbows!

June is coming to an end :( 

We're ending our weather themed month at Playschool learning about rainbows and rain.

We didn't have too many rainy days so we couldn't go out and play in the rain but we did make our very own raindrops to decorate our room with and we got to play with special shiny paint!

Last week we also learned about the different colors in the rainbow and painted our very own rainbows. The kids had a lot of fun mixing the paints to create new colors.

We made mini rainbows for our classroom!

Kinderクラス：お泊り保育

こんにちは。西宮インターナショナルスクールです☆

週末は雨が降ったり、雲行きの怪しいお天気でしたが、子ども達の願いが叶って今日は晴れ！

Kinderクラスは今日と明日、Stay Overnight ということで、甲山へお泊り保育に出かけます♪

年長さんは先生やお友達との2回目のお泊りですが、年中さんにとっては、初めてのお泊りです！

ママやパパ、家族と離れて過ごす１泊２日。

色々なアクティビティーや花火！お友達と一緒に食べるご飯、一緒に入るお風呂！

子ども達にとって、とっても楽しい時間になりますように☆

そして、明日みんながスクールに帰ってくるまで、お天気がもちますように★

と願いつつ、いってらっしゃい！！

Father's Day

6月21日、今日は父の日。西宮インターナショナルスクールでも父の日のイベントが開催されました。
たくさんのお父様やおじい様に来ていただき、子供達は一緒にゲームをしたり、クラフトをしたり、一緒にヨガもして子供達は大喜びでした！

★Kinder Class★ Venus Fly Trap

Kinderの今月のテーマはRain forestです。

みんなの作品で教室の壁をRain forestにしています！

今日は肉食植物、Venus Fly Trapを完成させました。

食べられちゃうハエも作りましたよ。

出来上がってから、みんな夢中で遊んでいました。

ハエ、、、、何度も何度も食べられてました。。。

楽しそうに遊んでいる子ども達を見れて良かったです！

グループタイムではPhonics,Writing、Reading　Math、ゲームなど様々なアクティビティに挑戦。



　　子供達は保護者の方々の前で少し緊張はしてはいたようですが、
とても喜んで活き活きとしている姿を見ることができました。

Visiting the Bakery!!

Jr. Kinder had a really special trip to Ryoichi Yamauchi Bakery today, and it was terrific!  The staff was wonderful and really enjoyed having us, and the kids had a great time learning about the bakery.  We got to see the big baker's ovens, the giant bags of flour, and the cool mixing machines.  Then we prepared our own hot dog bread by brushing it with egg and putting mayonnaise on top.  After that, the baker put it in the oven for us.  Next, he showed us how to make shokupan like a professional!  When our bread finished baking, we got to take it home with an extra melonpan!  What an awesome bakery visit we had!  When we left, all the kids said a big "Thank you!"
