Act it Out! The Three Little Pigs with Junior Kinder

Last Week's story was The Three Little Pigs. We had fun acting out the story!

Oh No! The big bad wolf is coming!

The wolf knocks on the third little pigs door. What will happen?

Junior Kinder Obstacle Course

In February we had a wonderful day doing one of our favorite activities. An obstacle course is a great way to get the kids moving before lunch on a cold day.

Balancing is one of the skills the kids like to practice. Trying not to rush is a bit of a challenge for some.

It's the end of the year and we had to make the course a bit tougher for everyone. These little stepping stones were perfect. Great job everyone!

Cooking with Playschool

Last month we had a cooking party during Yummy, yummy week. We ate bananas and marshmallows and our babies learnt (more or less) how to dip their food in chocolate sauce. They really enjoyed it and couldn't stop asking for seconds.

This chocolate sauce is just too yummy...

"We are cutting our bananas neatly"

                                                           "Hm...who ate my banana?"

Kinder :February

This month, the Kinder class held a marathon competition!!
We trained for several weeks in Shukugawa park.  Everyone did their best and finished the marathon.  We are so proud of them.

"On your mark.  Get set.  Go!! "

"I'm going to be first!!”

”We got a medal 😃 "

At the end of this month, we had an Open School.  The kids and parents made a parfait together, then enjoyed a picnic-style lunch and had the parfait for dessert!!
We had a great time 😍

"I'm cutting a banana!"

"My parfait is yummy!!"

Fashion Show in Playschool

Last week we held our fashion show in Playschool. The kids enjoyed dressing up in cute dresses and costumes. Please enjoy the pictures!

                                                                     Can't wait for summer!

Pose like a real princess :)

Sometimes our clothes were a bit over-sized.

                                                               We got to play cowboys...

                                                                          Firefighters...

Princesses...

                                                                       And a lot more...

Do you like my sunglasses?

Junior Kinder Winter Activities

Today we made pipe cleaner bracelets with colorful beads. They loved the little star beads.

They created beautiful bracelets while others played with pokkuri.

Bracelets and temporary tattoos were popular today. Everyone was excited to show each other their cool designs.

Winter Fun with Playschool

We learn about winter in January and since there is no snow outside, we decided to make our own snow in the classroom. The kids really enjoyed playing with shaving foam and make it snow.

We admit, things got a little messy, but babies loved pretending that their hair is covered with snow.
